Commercial convection ovens are the most widely used appliances in the food service industry, according to ENERGY STAR. They are used in nearly all types of food preparations, offering a wide variety of uses from baking and roasting to warming and reheating. ENERGY STAR-qualified commercial gas convection ovens are about 20 percent more energy efficient than standard models. An energy efficient gas oven can save your business 30 MBtu each year — that equates to an average savings of $360/year on your natural gas bills.
