New Mexico Gas Company is offering our business customers a $225 rebate on the purchase and installation of a new energy-efficient, ENERGY STAR®-qualified commercial griddle.

ENERGY STAR-qualified commercial gas griddles are about 10 percent more energy efficient than standard models and can save businesses, on average, 15 MBtu each year — which means an average savings of $170 a year on your natural gas bill, according to ENERGY STAR.

Griddles are the workhorse for many commercial kitchens. Models vary in size, energy usage, heating method, griddle plate construction and control mechanisms. High-efficiency gas griddles take advantage of new technology, such as infrared burners, heat pipes and thermal fluid or steam. Commercial food service operators will also appreciate that these energy efficient griddles deliver higher cooking performance and capacity.
