While reconnecting natural gas service after the recent outages, technicians were unable to relight appliances that were unsafe and needed repairs to make them safe. Funding has been allocated to the NM Mortgage Finance Authority to help income-qualifying customers with these needed repairs on their natural gas-burning appliances, as well as with weatherization services. For customers affected by the recent outages who are interested in this assistance, information on the MFA program, along with application forms, can be found on our website at Low Income Energy Efficiency Assistance.
