New Mexico Gas Company offers a variety of payment options for your convenience so that you can choose the methods that best fit your budget and lifestyle.
For customers who prefer to pay their bills by mail or in person, we provide remittance envelopes to enclose your check and payment stub. In addition to our 22 business offices across the state, there are more than a hundred drop boxes at participating Wells Fargo branches where you can drop off your payment and save the postage. You’ll also find Western Union offices where, for a small fee, you can drop off your payment in person. You’ll find a list of payment locations at the "Pay in Person" link to the left.
If you prefer electronic bill paying or would like your natural gas bill payments automatically deducted from your designated checking or saving account, those conveniences are available, too. You can also pay by credit card or ATM using Bill Matrix.
We also offer a free program to help customers avoid unexpectedly large natural gas bills and make managing budgets easier. Our Budget Billing program evens out your monthly bills so you pay the same amount each month.
Information on payment plans and other assistance for customers is also available. Please follow the links on the left to learn about each option.
Please Note:
If you get a notice of disconnection of service for nonpayment, please take your payment in person to one of our Business Offices or a Western Union location. If you make a payment at Western Union, please be sure to call us at 888-NM-GAS-CO (888-664-2726) with your receipt number so that scheduled disconnect can be stopped. Please do not mail or put your payment in a Wells Fargo drop box if you have received a notice that your service is to be disconnected.
Identity Theft
If you believe an account has been opened in your name without your consent or knowledge, we urge you to file an identity theft claim with us. You can download a copy of the Identity Theft claim form here. More information on identity theft is also available here from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
