You may request a letter of credit online.

This letter shows your internal credit standing with New Mexico Gas Company and is based on your most recent 12-month payment history. This information is only released at your specific request and authorization. Common uses for these letters are to help reduce or waive a deposit with another utility company when you’re moving, or help with a loan.

If you would like a letter stating your internal credit standing with New Mexico Gas Company, log go to Manage My Account. Then, select the “Request letter of credit”.

You can choose to instantly download a copy of your letter of credit to print, email or fax. Or, you may request a copy be mailed to you at the address we have on record for you. You should receive it within 3 to 5 business days.
Customers without internet access or Spanish-speaking customers may also request a letter of credit over the phone by calling us at 505-697-3335 (Albuquerque Metro) or toll free at 888-NM-GAS-CO (888-664-2726), weekdays, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm or emailing Customer Service.
