If you care for a friend or relative who could overlook paying his or her New Mexico Gas Company bill because of illness, financial hardship or other issues, our Third-Party Notification program can help.
The program allows NMGC to notify a third party if a customer’s account is more than 30 days past due, or if the customer is at risk of having their service disconnected. Third-Party Notification does not obligate the third party to pay the customer’s natural gas bill. The customer is still responsible for payment of the bill. The agreement can be canceled at any time at the request of the customer or the third party.
